Nigel J. Cornick
Binswanger Brooker (Thailand) (BBT) Chief Executive Officer Nigel Cornick’s 40-year real estate career covers three continents and extensive experience in valuation, property management, development and asset management.
In his early years, Nigel served in executive positions for IBM’s joint venture in Saudi Arabia; major Japanese developer, Daikyo; and Lend Lease, Australia’s most prominent real estate developer, before moving to Thailand in 1991 to open Collier Jardine’s Bangkok office.
In 1996 Nigel was appointed General Manager of property developer, Raimon Land PLC, and during the 1997 Asian financial crisis, he was responsible for restructuring the bankrupt company, a task he successfully completed in 2002, when he was appointed CEO.
From 2002 until 2009, under Nigel’s leadership, Raimon Land became recognized as Thailand’s leading developer of high-end residential condominiums in Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. On leaving Raimon Land, Nigel had established a pipeline of projects valued at over THB 40 billion and a solid balance sheet.
